The restaurant- Mocrone, is a beautiful village set between the
villages of Bagnone and Villafranca in Lunigiana, a land rich
in natural, historical and cultural beauties. Here the Gavarini
family own a characteristic restaurant where they are happy to
serve you numerous typical products of the local gastronomy and
homemade dishes, either in the two dining-rooms, one of which
is spacious and luminous ideal for successful banquets and the
other more intimate room, appropriate for every type of occasion,
or why not outdoors in the garden. We recommend a rich variety
of homemade starters, the famous "chicche della nonna",
the well-known rice bake stuffed with pigeon, and a good look
at the wine list.

Tasty ravioli with gorzonzola and pear, homemade
ravioli, tagliatelle with porcini mushroom sauce,
tronchetti with porcini mushroom sauce, "chicchere
della nonna" (a type of gnocco), testaroli
with pesto sauce, porcini mushroom risotto,
noodles with Praga ham and truffle sauce.
Main courses
Rice bake with pigeon, lamb from Zeri, tender
pork with chestnuts, stewed wild boar with roasted
polenta, steak (beef) with rocket lettuce and
parmesan flakes, roast pork with porcini mushrooms,
veal with porcini mushrooms, roast veal, grilled
lamb cutlets, Praga ham with truffle sauce,
fillet of steak with whole green pepper sauce.
Side courses
Roast potatoes, mixed salad, vegetables of the
day.
